MILIND DESAI is a founder + Principal Architect of    VAASTUVIT ASSOCIATES.

 

He also happens to be a guy who wants to bring a warm Modernism into the simple architectural form.

 

When Milind isn’t busy designing, finding the next great project, or scouting properties for future        development, he can be found hanging out  with his family, friends, or planning the  next  escape  to the nature.

 

Prior to forming Vaastuvit Associates, Milind is a Design Architect and collaborator of  EcoUrbs Consultants.

 

Milind earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch) from CEPT University at Ahmedabad, India. and has  over 12 years of professional experience.

 

Passion for design / architecture / music has always been in his blood.

After completing her graduation from IPSA at Rajkot , Ar. Sonia came to Vadodara and worked with renowned architect, Ar. Karan Grover.

Later getting interested in green buildings, studies took her to the benefits of landscaping in buildings and gained insight from Ar. Lokendra Balasaria, Ahmedabad.

 In 2008, she joined hand with Ar. Milind and started their own firm named  “VAASTUVIT ASSOCIATES”

She is obsessed with plants and at times seems to be talking to them. Close to nature she keeps innovating and researching on creating an interesting dialogue of buildings with environment- the interiors of an architecture piece communicates with the outside landscape and the transition is so enjoyable as the person in her.

Apart from professional practice Ar. Sonia is working as a Visiting faculty at

• Anant Institute of Architecture, Ahmedabad.
• Alpha Institutes of Architecture , Ahmedabad.
• Faculty of Architecture , Design & Planning at Ganpat University.

When she’s not busy with deadlines, client meetings or getting new contacts, you can find her at any Movieplex or playing games.

Ar. Sudiksha is generally quiet and self-reflective. She spends more time concentrating on internal thoughts than speaking. She is more likely to try and figure things out for herself than to ask for help. Others may view this as being territorial. She has a relatively limited number of friends, but she tends to expend more energy on those relationships.

Apart from being an architect, she is a teacher, a painter, a graphic designer and plays music –all serious stuff!!!! it is surprising to see her play hide and seek with the children in office hours- the child in her is still alive…the best gift for her would be a creative toy or the colour box which would let her create her own….
